Tooling Supervisor

Location: Asheboro, NC

We are currently seeking Tooling Supervisor, with the below qualifications:

Professional Attributes

The Tooling Manager is responsible for the overall management, maintenance, and continuous improvement of all tooling-related activities within the manufacturing facility. This includes the design, fabrication, repair, modification, and lifecycle management of tools, dies, molds, jigs, and fixtures to support production processes.

The Tooling Manager ensures that tooling operations meet production requirements, quality standards, cost targets, and delivery schedules.

This role involves cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field (preferred); equivalent experience accepted.

  • 8+ years of experience in tooling, mold making, or die maintenance, with 3+ years in a leadership role in a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong technical knowledge of tooling design, maintenance, and manufacturing processes (e.g., CNC machining, EDM, injection molding).

  • Proficient in CAD software and tooling documentation systems.

  • Experience with root cause analysis, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement practices.
