GLOBAL ACCOUNT MANAGER

SUMMARY OF ROLE

The Global Account Manager is a dynamic role responsible for managing all aspects of a global account, including multi-site collaboration, financial management, and new business growth. This role requires business acumen, strategic account planning, manufacturing savvy, and effective communication to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction. It’s a highly visible and strategic position that drives business growth and revenue predictability. This position will work either remotely, reporting to the Vice President of Business Development, Healthcare. This is a full-time, exempt position that offers competitive compensation and benefits.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the business for the entire client network world-wide and ensure robust penetration and spend for Westfall-Technik
  • Manage P&L for entire client portfolio with Westfall-Technik in collaboration with tooling and production sites.
  • Drive revenue forecasting process in collaboration with each site and help build a bottoms up quarterly plan based on existing and ramping business.
  • Develop comprehensive account plans and utilize them to drive results both internally and commercially.
  • Identify opportunities for new business growth and penetration and drive saturation of our products/services with existing accounts.
  • Negotiate contracts that align with company goals and customer needs.
  • Provide operational support through Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR), Kaizen Events, etc.
  • Manage schedules for New Product Introduction (NPI) and sustaining existing products.
  • Work with site teams to develop and implement recovery plans as needed.
  • Provide input into Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes.
  • Maintain effective communications, verbally and written, with the customers/accounts.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or related field, MBA Preferred
  • 10-15 years Proven experience in a similar role in the manufacturing industry with a strong understanding of the medical device manufacturing process.
  • Excellent verbal, written and electronic communication and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated Executive Selling and Deal Making Skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
